Best Life Therapy is Hiring: Passionate Mental Health Therapists (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) 

Full-Time, start as part-time while building caseload, Hybrid -You select which location you'd like, or maybe you want to work out of both locations, Flint Township & Davison, MI (addresses are below).

These positions come with a highly competitive wage for fully licensed therapists (typical range is $70,000 to $120,000 per year). Your initial pay is based on your experience as a clinical therapist in the outpatient setting, your credentials, your performance/expertise displayed during the job interview process and input from your references/previous supervisors. These are W2 positions that provide you with Paid Time Offer, Flexible Hours, Paid Training and Opportunities for Advancement.

At Best Life Therapy, we believe in people over paperwork. We're a rapidly growing outpatient mental health practice focused on grief, trauma, anxiety and depression. We provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy. Our clinicians use a person-centered affirming care approach. Therapists enjoy fully furnished, spacious offices at both of our locations.

We’re seeking fully licensed therapists who want to make a real impact without burning out on documentation in the process. We will consider limited licensed clinicians depending on skill level. We believe you should enjoy family-life balance. We are in need of therapists with a minimum availability of 18-20 clients per week. Enjoy using our Automated Note-taking system! Enjoy your days off and leave work at work. See clients in-person in our beautiful offices–3-4 days per week. You can also do some remote work from home.

What We’re Looking For: We're hiring fully licensed clinicians (PhD, PsyD, LMSW, LPC, LMFT) and are willing to consider LLMFTs, LLMSWs and LLCs with strong clinical foundations and hearts aligned with our mission. Ideal therapists will:

• Commit to scheduling at least 18-20 clients each week

• Have experience in trauma, grief, and evidence-based modalities

• Understand insurance documentation (or be open to learning)

• Value autonomy with connection

• Thrive in inclusive, affirming environments

Extra kudos if you bring:

• EMDR, Gottman Training, grief counseling training, or child and family experience or any couples therapy training

• A passion for dismantling barriers to care in marginalized communities

• A willingness to learn, grow, bring new ideas to the team and occasionally step out of your comfort zone as new opportunities arise.

• An interest in additional duties. We like to promote from within. Clinical Supervisors and Clinical Director positions may be available to internal clinicians.

We are interested in hiring individuals who want the support that a group practice offers with billing, marketing and scheduling. We also hope to add more clinicians to our work family. If your plan is to go solo soon and start your own private practice, consider setting up a coaching call with Vicky. We put a lot of time and resources into our clinicians and are interested in individuals who want long-term employment. Having a mentor/group practice coach can be an important step if you are on that path.

Part-Time Intake Coordinator Position (Currently these positions are filled - We have plenty of support staff and hiring for this role is on hold - As we grow, more opportunities may be available, please check back for updates).

We’re in search of a **Part-Time Intake Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be someone who naturally brings warmth, heart, and professionalism to every interaction.
If you’re someone who:

* Enjoys assisting others and can do so with empathy

* Thrives in a busy, client-centered space, ability to follow written instructions

* Ability to remain organized and works well under pressure in fast-paced environment

* Is excited to grow within a compassionate team, interacts well with others

* Excellent communication and phone etiquette, considerate of others

* Must be warm, friendly, organized, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates will undergo a 90-day probationary period during which they must consistently meet these expectations.

* An ability to compose professional emails and answer calls professionally

* Self-motivated, timely with responding to calls and dependable

* Comfortable with technology to schedule appointments, manage our support email to address inquiries, track data, and document day-to-day activities

* Experience in working with clients in a HIPAA-compliant setting

* Previous experience in an office setting as a receptionist or a biller would be ideal

* Assist with mailings, faxing, some marketing duties and other activities as necessary

Best Life Therapy* is a growing outpatient mental health practice committed to making high-quality care more accessible in our community. We don’t just hire employees—we welcome team members who share our passion for what we do. Best Life Therapy needs someone who understands how to interact with clients who call. We need a candidate who is patient, wants to assist with scheduling, verifying insurance and making referrals when needed. Compassion, patience and some understanding of mental health is necessary.
Location: Primarily Remote, but the idea candidate will be available to report to the office when needed.

W2 Position | $18-$19/hr. to start - There is a 90-day probationary training period. Hours will vary depending on the needs of the practice. 

10–15 hours/week to start - will vary depending upon the needs of the business | Hours are expected to increase as our new therapists begin seeing clients and the volume of referrals increases. Need someone who can cover for our Intake Coordinator/Office Manager when they can't work.

Ideal position for:
Intake Coordinators verify insurance benefits for new clients. You will need to utilize several systems to be sure clients have an active insurance plan. You also will need to document the outcome of that check in the chart so therapists/billers can see what the copays and deductibles will be. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time is required.
